CCMP Update Public Meetings
The next public meeting for the CCMP update will occur on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Morro Bay Community Center (1001 Kennedy Way, Morro Bay)
How to comment on the 2012 Draft CCMP
The 2012 CCMP draft was released by the Estuary Program on February 29, 2012, to gather public comment. The public comments period ends April 13, 2012. The final document will be released upon approval by the Estuary Program's Management Committees in fall 2012.
To best incorporate a wide range of comments and suggestions, the draft document has been left with little formatting or illustrations. The Estuary Program requests that comments focus on the content of the document, not the formatting. In addition, the Estuary Program encourages readers to focus their attention on Chapter 3, the action plans chapter.

If you have any questions or concerns throughout the comment period or wish to submit comments in a format other than email, please also contact Lexie Bell at lbell@mbnep.org or 805-772-3834, ext. 16.
This informational meeting will be the final one in our update process. The Estuary Program will present the main points and important changes in the new draft CCMP. Community members will have an opportunity to provide comment on the draft plan. After the meeting, community members can continue to comment on the plan throughout the written comment period, which ends April 13th.

Previous CCMP Update Public Meetings
September 29th, 2011 Public Meeting:
On September 29th, the Estuary Program held a public meeting in Los Osos to present information on the status of the CCMP update and gather commments on draft revised action plans. New goal statements and a revised structure for the plan were presented along with the draft revised action plans. For more information on the status of the CCMP update and how to submit comments by November 1, 2011, please visit our update progress webpage.
April 14th, 2011 Public Meeting:
The Estuary Program held an initial public meeting on April 14th, 2011 to introduce the update process and receive input on new and emerging issues facing the estuary and watershed. The presentation from that meeting, as well as supporting documents, can be downloaded here.
Technical Workshops:
The Estuary Program held four technical workshops in June and July 2011 to gather expert advice and feedback on specific topic areas for the updated management plan. These are not the only areas of the management plan that will be updated; however, they are the areas in greatest need of expert advice. An invited panel of experts participated in each workshop and members of the public also attended. The agenda and meeting summary for each workshop are included in the links below.
