Last Days of the Restless C II and the Shogun

The Harbor Department recently retired two fishing boats. The boats, which threatened to sink, were removed through the city’s derelict vessel removal project which was funded in part by the Estuary Program.

Above, the Restless CII proved a challenge to remove from the water.

The Restless CII, a 57-ft steel trawler, and the Shogun, a 36-ft wooden vessel were both demolished. The Harbor Department spring newsletter will feature a detailed story on the demolition.
