Does your activity…

  • take place in the watershed?

  • benefit people and wildlife?

  • help keep the estuary and streams clean and healthy?

If the answer to the questions above is “yes,” then grab a couple friends and begin!

Need ideas? You could

Clean up our parks

Scooping the poop in your favorite recreational park or path and responsibly disposing of the waste.

New gardens

Create a new garden of natives in your yard. Use those design skills to reinvent the flora surrounding your home.

Pick up & surf

Gather some friends to surf or paddle board at your group’s favorite takeoff point and pick up the hard-to-reach trash around the area. Make sure to hit more than one spot!

Clean out your garage

Look through your garage, your cupboards, and under your sink. Collect hazardous waste items like old paint cans, motor oil, etc., that are out of date, or that you know you won’t use again. Bring them to the appropriate drop-off locations. If your friends or neighbors have the same materials, you could offer to drop them off, too.
