The more eyes on the survey, the more invasive sea lavender spotted. By involving volunteers like students from Cal Poly and the Natural Resources Management & Environmental Sciences Leadership, Education, Application, and Discovery Scholars Program, we have increased our ability to find invasive sea lavender and remove it from the salt marsh.
